ENTERING RAMADAN, GETPLUS RAISES DONATION FOR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK
PT Global Poin Indonesia (GPI), operator of GetPlus, a multi-brand loyalty program company, is calling the public and its members to donate through the GetPlus application to help families affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
"From our concern for all families affected negatively by COVID-19, we created this donation option to support these needy families, particularly in Jakarta area, especially now that we are entering the month of Ramadan. It is a part of our responsibility to help and share with others. We would like to extend our thanks to the Badan Zakat Amil Nasional (BAZNAS) who also helped us in distributing the donations that we collected, " said Adrian Hoon, COO of PT. GPI in Jakarta.
Through the #RamadanBarengGetPlus program, every member of GetPlus can redeem donation vouchers available in the application, starting from Rp.10,000, Rp.50,000 to Rp.500,000 vouchers. This program period will run from April 17th 2020. Furthermore, GetPlus will match 100% of the donations collected.
This program is not limited to GetPlus members only. All BCA Reward owners can exchange their rewards to GetPlus points and participate in the donations as well. A donation voucher of Rp. 100,000 is available by redeeming 50,000 BCA Rewards. In addition, BCA member rewards will participate in donating Rp. 25,000 if they redeem any rewards available in the BCA Exclusive Catalogue. The program period will run from April 24 to May 31, 2020.
All donations collected from this program will be fully transferred to BAZNAS at the end of the program, to be allocated to needy families to help them with basic needs, through packages of essential items. "We hope that the donations collected can be beneficial for the communities affected negatively by the COVID-19 outbreak. GetPlus will also continue to be committed to conducting programs like this for the common good," concluded Adrian.
GetPlus is a customer loyalty application that offers its members to benefit from points from various merchants through everyday shopping transactions, both through online and offline payments. Since it is launched in late February 2019, GetPlus has had more than 40 partners and acquired more than 200,000 members to date. GetPlus will continue to improve services and collaborative efforts so that members can get more points to exchange for a variety of rewards from the well-known brands.
