GetPlus Distributes Logistics Packages to More Than 120 Families Affected by COVID-19

As a commitment to contribute to the society’s common good, PT. Global Poin Indonesia, operator of GetPlus app, collaborates with Badan Zakat Amil Nasional (BAZNAS) to distribute logistic packages and masks. The packages were successfully received by more than 120 disadvantaged families affected by the COVID-19 outbreak in Jakarta.

 

"The logistic packages were from our members’ donation, raised through GetPlus app with a total of Rp30.600.000. Thanks to our members and BAZNAS who help us distribute all of the packages. We hope that the donations collected can be beneficial for the communities affected negatively by the COVID-19 outbreak”  said Adrian Hoon, COO of PT. GPI at Jakarta.

 

Starting from May 18th – June 20th, Paket Ramadan Bahagia (contains of rice, oil, sugar, tea, syrup, cookies, soy sauce, and masks) are distributed to Kampung Gusti, Pulogadung, Cakung, Pasar Rebo, Cipayung, and other areas in Jakarta. The packages were received by families with different backgrounds; cleaning service, labors, street vendors, also those who lost their job due to COVID-19.

 

This act of service is a part of #RamadanBarengGetPlus donation program which held from April 17th until 31st May 2020 onGetPlus apps, which also collaborate with Reward BCA. GetPlus members can redeem their GetPlus points into donation rewards, from Rp10.000 to Rp50.000 e-voucher.

 

“GetPlus will also continue to be committed to conducting programs like this for the common good” concluded Adrian.

 

 The representatives of BAZNAS team is preparing “Paket Ramadhan Bahagia” logistic packages from GetPlus and Reward BCA.

 

More than 120 logistic packages and 1000 masks are ready to deliver to Kampung Gusti, Pulogadung, Cakung, Pasar Rebo, Cipayung, and other areas in Jakarta.

 

Sarni, one of Gang Purabali residents who work as a street vendors, received the logistic packages from BAZNAS team representatives.

 

 The logisctic packages were successfully received by Haryani, a street vendors who lived in Penjaringan, North Jakarta
